Most checks complete within 5–15 seconds. If the site has already been scanned recently, results load instantly from our cache. The AI review may take a few extra seconds to generate on a first-time scan.

Reports are cached and refreshed based on activity. You can force a fresh scan at any time by clicking the Refresh Analysis button on the report page. This re-runs all checks against the latest live data.

The safety score is a number from 0 to 100, calculated from all the checks we run:

• 70–100: Safe — the site passed most security checks
• 40–69: Caution — some concerns, proceed carefully
• 0–39: Dangerous — significant red flags detected

No single score is perfect — always combine it with your own judgment.

Some legitimate sites can score lower due to factors like a recently registered domain, missing HTTPS, or lack of visible contact/privacy policy pages. These are risk indicators — not absolute proof of a scam. The score is designed to be cautious, so use community reviews alongside it for context.

We check against real, actively maintained threat databases including:

• URLhaus — real-time malware URL database by abuse.ch
• OpenPhish — community phishing intelligence feed
• MetaMask Phishing Detect — crypto phishing list
• PhishTank, Spamhaus, Google Safe Browsing — referenced as major industry standards
